With a history that dates back to the early 17th century, it's no surprise that New England is a rich source of antiques. Our real estate agents love shopping for new finds among the items at these wonderful antique shops and malls around Northern New England.

- Twice Upon a Time - 63 Main St., Brattleboro, VT 05301
In keeping with the name, Twice Upon a Time has had more than one "life." The shop's roots go back to 1987 when founder Randi Crouse opened a consignment shop for children's clothing in a modest space of less than 1,000 square feet. Three moves and 36 years later, Twice Upon a Time occupies the former E.J. Fenton & Son Department Store building, which dates back to 1906. Randi's daughters, Nicky and Cindi, now own and manage the store in which they grew up. In addition to renting dealer booths in the three-story shop, Twice Upon a Time offers consignment selling of furniture, jewelry, home decor, and collectibles. Exposed brick decor, 16-foot ceilings, and large windows create a sense of elegance and drama not found in other establishments. Nancy Jean Gatti, aka the "Queen Mum" of Cabot Mill, started out selling antiques and collectibles at area flea markets alongside her husband Tony.
